SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Town of Cobalt will be accepting applications/resumes for summer students to work at the Town of Cobalt Public Works Department. This position will perform various activities in the maintenance of parks within the Town, as well as any public works related operational requirements. The position will work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (7:30 am to 4:00 pm). The hourly rate is $16.55 per hours.
Previous experience in Public Works and park maintenance is an asset, however, training will be provided. Good communication skills, the ability to deal with the public in a courteous and effective manner, work independently and in a team environment and the capability to perform light physical tasks are a requirement of the position.
Individuals should have the following: Class G Driver’s License, with CPR and First Aid considered an asset.
